Method selector for verifying ID (v1)

Allow users to choose their preferred identity verification method

Display a list of identity verification methods to the user. The user will be directed to the verification method of their choice.

• User-driven selection: Shows the user a selection page with the available verification methods.
• Dynamic routes: Creates output routes dynamically based on configured methods. When enableRetry is true, an additional retry route is added.
• Method assets: Each method includes display assets (label, image, optional sublabel).
• Flexible routing: No constraints on the type of step that can be associated with transitions.

Configuration

methods	string[]	Yes	—	A list of verification method identifiers. Each value must be one of: doc_id, france_identite, eudi_wallet_verifier, german_eid. Each method creates a corresponding dynamic output route. Minimum 1 method required. Accepted values: doc_id, france_identite, eudi_wallet_verifier, german_eid.
enableRetry	boolean	No	false	When true, adds a retry output route that can be used to handle user cancellations.

Frontend implications:

Each method that can be defined as an option is associated with a set of assets intended for displaying a selection block, which contains the radio button for the selection:

• A label associated with the method (its title)
• An image displayed within the block
• An optional sublabel (e.g. "France" for France Identité or "Germany" for Personalausweis)

Routes

This step creates one output route per method listed in methods. When enableRetry is true, an additional retry route is created.

Route	Description
doc_id	Created when "doc_id" is in methods. Must connect to a Document IDV step (DOC_ID:*, DOC_ID_HEADLESS:*, DOC_ID_SIGNING:*, SPHINX:*).
france_identite	Created when "france_identite" is in methods. Must connect to a compatible eID step (FRANCE_IDENTITE:*, EIDS:*).
eudi_wallet_verifier	Created when "eudi_wallet_verifier" is in methods. Must connect to a EUDI Wallet step (EUDI_WALLET_VERIFIER:*, EIDS:*).
german_eid	Created when "german_eid" is in methods. Must connect to a compatible eID step (GERMAN_EID:*, EIDS:*).
retry	Available when enableRetry is true. Handles user cancellations. May connect to any step.

This step does not produce any output data blocks. When enableRetry is true, a retry output route is available to handle user cancellations.
